Ethical challenges have continued to shift with the evolution of distance care & telehealth, as well as the ongoing focus on evaluation of dual diagnosis care. 2024 brought the new red flag law with new tools and new duties added to the challenges of when to breach confidentiality to prevent self-harm or hard to third parties. The expanding availability and use of apps and internet support brings new options and new dangers. This presentation will examine a wide range of professional ethical challenges in relationships with current and former clients.
