Jared Bostrum is the Executive Director at Progress Valley, Inc, a non-profit organization that provides treatment services and sober housing for adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders. he is also an Associate Faculty Member at Adler Graduate School, teaching courses in Marriage and Family Therapy, Co-occurring Disorders, and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has a Doctorate of Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, Twin Cities, and is licensed as Marriage and Family Therapist, an Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Certified as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP). Dr. Bostrom is also an EMDRIA trained clinician and has received advanced training in Narrative Therapy. Dr. Bostrum has held a variety of clinical, leadership, and administrative positions in the mental and chemical health systems, primarily in service to adults with co-occurring disorders. He is passionate about integrated and innovative person centered care, and believes that services should be provided in a manner that is flexible, ethical, and most likely to be effective. Through various forms, Jared has also enjoyed the privilege of helping to educate, develop, and support the individuals who provide, or will one day provide, clinical services to those in need.
